Happy Mid-Autumn Festival
2024-09-14
Dear Team,
In celebration of the traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, our company will observe a three-day holiday from September 15th to September 17th. Regular operations will resume on September 18th.
The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is a time-honored tradition in Chinese culture. It takes place on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month when the moon is believed to be at its fullest. The festival dates back over 3,000 years to ancient moon worship practices. Over time, it has become a time to celebrate the harvest and the reunion of family and friends.
A key symbol of the festival is the mooncake, a round pastry filled with various sweet or savory ingredients, symbolizing completeness and unity. People often gather with family members, appreciate the bright full moon, and share mooncakes while offering prayers for good fortune and happiness. Lantern displays and dragon dances are also common in many regions of China during this time.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our employees and their families a joyful and relaxing Mid-Autumn Festival. May this holiday bring you happiness, health, and a time of wonderful reunion.
Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!
Sincerely,
Semicorex
